It's been the factory fitted tyre for the Toyota GT86 throughout production. It has stiff(ish) sidewalls for good turn-in, hard compound for not much ultimate grip (so you can exploit the GT86's sublime handling at moderate speeds) and also lasts well despite spirited driving.
Toyota optimised the GT86 suspension for this tyre, so why buy anything else? (you might easily get better grip from another tyre, but you will miss out on some of the GT86's fun!)
